I'm disappointed PS3 owners.

The Wii Bump reminds me of the GTA 4 release. It helped increase wii by 700k or somethin xD But of course this is to a much lesser degree.

Good God, the difference for Battlefield is MUCH higher in favor of the 360 than I expected. O_O

My guess is the PC is starting to erode some of the core PS3 userbase for multiplats with a strong PC presence. Bad Company 2's origins are in the PC based Battlefield series and many of the PC/PS3 owners will probably be looking to try out DX11 on their spanking new Radeons.

This is what happens to me.  Almost all PC/PS3 multi's get purchased for my PC (DA:O, Bioshock 2, etc).  This also happens to all of my friends that have gaming PC, it comes first before either console.

Me also, but especially now that I have a DX11 graphics card. It really does make quite a difference, especially with games like Just Cause 2 and Battlefield showing quite a difference for me in terms of overall experience. Running Bioshock 2 at 120FPS is an excellent experience!

I wonder if this puts even more pressure on the Sony 1st party to interest the PC types as the graphics on PC are starting to really leap over and beyond what is possible on the PS3 through sheer brute force.

Agree!

It doesn't make sense, especially in light of the exclusive beta on the PS3.

It does make sense though, just not THAT big of a difference. But the 360 fanbase goes for these types of games, it selling more on it isn't shocking.

The difference is much larger than what most multiplatform shooters show and thats inspite of the exclusive beta.

Maybe they are waiting for other games??? Particularly a certain RPG and Hack and Slash game???

Anyway too much FPS games makes me crazy.

I agree with this sentiment about there being too many FPS games.  This year, in particular, the market will be flooded with quality FPS games.  People only have time to buy so many of these games-- online mutliplayer games are very time-consuming.  I would rather play just 1 FPS for the year rather than get 3-4 FPS shooters during the year.  SOCOM 4 was also recently announced and Medal of Honor and CoD will also have new releases this year-- the market can only absorb so many of these games.  Finally, there is a new mappack coming out for MW2 at the end of the month.  I will probably just get this mappack rather than buying a new game like BFBC2.

PS3 users are still absorbed with MAG, CoD MW2, Bioshock 2, and Uncharted 2.  With the recent release of Heavy Rain and FFXIII and the upcoming release of GoW3, the PS3 has been very top-heavy with great games recently.  I think BFBC2  will have legs for the PS3, but the gap between PS3 and 360 for BFBC2 will be much steeper than the gap was for MW2.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Im not sure this would pressure them at all.  The console first party devs (that make PS360 exclusives) are only competing with each other, not the PC.  As a PC gamer, console exclusive games still interest me (quite a bit actually) and they always will.

It is just games on consoles/PC will almost always share some space on my SSD.  This is why I will always be a fan of first party exclusives.

They're competing for your time, interest, money etc just like any other title. They don't exist in a vacuum comparable only to themselves.

I skipped MAG and Battlefield because I'm still playing MW2 every day and I don't have time for another shooter. I'm also not made of money so I'm planning to leave a few games until later in the year when they're cheaper.
