I've never been a frequent poster but I've been a very regular poster throughout the last three and a half years.

I started here in '06 just to see how Nintendo's and Sony's gambles with their new systems would pay off.  

As I expected Nintendo's little console that could was a hit and Sony's arrogence, price and decision to take on MS directly cost them dearly.

What I didn't expect was to find such a great community here.   This forum has become a frequent haunt of mine and it's been a pleasure to debate with so many of you, to hear your thoughts or to get your help and advice from time to time.

If not for these forums I never would have discovered the awesomeness that is Fire Emblem.  Nor would I have bought some other games I allowed myself to caught up in the forum hype with and quickly sold afterwards (Conduit/MadWorld). 

Many of you I have played with or against online, and thanks for that.

But VGChartz has become a habit and a time-sink that I need to break as I have other thinks I need to focus on, like a website of my own.

So it is with some regret that I bid you all a fond farewell, and ask a kindly Mod to ban me (let's start with a month).

The best always leave us.

Thanks famousringo. A lot of the great posters (and personalities) have come and gone. I guess we each have our time.

how about I not ban you as you are a great member, and I'd like to you stop by every once in a while.

Why is it when people leave Vgchartz they tend to ask a mod to shoot them in the head. Its like the only way people leave here is in a body bag (banned).

cause VGChartz is so addicting.

It's only for a month, so it's more like a severe tasering than a gunshot to the head.

The point of the ban is to remove all temptation and go cold turkey.

Yes.  Exactly.  Because unless I'm banned I'll be right back on here tomorrow.   Not sure what that says about me... Not sure I'd want to know.

@Nordlead - Thanks for the consideration.  Ban for a month and then I'll occasionally drop by after - promise.
