Our boi disagrees with you, and so do I. At 64% and 42% opacity they're the same model. Lightning just has her mouth open and Cloud doesn't.

I didn't make that picture so I couldn't control what images they used, it's just one I found once. Still, shave their heads and they would be utterly indistinguishable.

This can be true for a lot of pictures/people as well, ever see the ad that says "guess which one is female" as humans, we all have similar heads and facial features... Out of 6+ billion people on the planet, I'm sure you could find a male and a female that look similar with almost identical facial features...
And after (how many FF games are there? Probably 20+?) so many FF games, they were bound to duplicate some facial features...
I think fans of FFVII just want to believe that Cloud lives.. in whatever reincarnation :) (And FF9 was the BEST btw, though I am really enjoying 13 so far)

That is what caught my attention. Also Sazh keeps calling her ex-soldier which reminds me of VII.
And Snow is like Zell. He even bangs his hands together every once in a while, for crying out loud!
