How is he clueless? The Xbox flat out doesnt have any exclusives that rival the PS3's exclusives next year. They used it all to win this year in software.

Other than MGS4, what huge games does the PS3 have definitely lined up for 2008? Don't tell me GT5 because if you've followed Polyphony at all, the word is synonymous with "delayed game".

Even the MGS franchise isn't what it used to be (thank you, MGS2). I'm not knocking the PS3 lineup, it will be quite good to great depending on releases. But to discount Lost Odyssey, Fable, Too Human, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Infinite Undiscovery, Banjo Threeie, etc. is folly.

Lost Oddyssey will sell just like Blue Dragon.

Wanna make a bet on that?

No way is this the death knell for the PS3. You guys seriously think that there won't be another good game that comes out for the system?

MGS4 is not going to be ported to the 360, I don't believe it for a minute.

Bullshit Bullshit bullshit

Heck if ps3 fans can hype lair and HS, i can hype next year, with twice as many games, with very well known makers, and quite a few sequals. That and im pretty sure they are not going to be rushed like HS and lair were.

Weve seen what new IP are doing on the 360, dont tell me its suddenly going to drop and die next year.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

@lost

May I ask what is the great AAA exclusive line up the 360 has next year?

Ever hear of Banjo, Fable 2, or Halo wars?

Heck hear of Lost oddyssey? Any of those have a possiblility of AAA title.

Leo i could give you a huge list, but why bother.

I'm sorry Lost but we haven't heard jack about those games in quite some time. Banjo applies more to Wii gamers than 360 gamers, Has there been any footage on Fable 2? Halo Wars, even with Halo in it's name, is an RTS that won't appeal to those Halo fans who constantly play FPS's. Lost Oddyssey will sell just like Blue Dragon. The third year can be a challenge for the 360, mainly because the PS3 will have more than one proven IP releasing. Compare it to this year, only one proven IP has been out. (R&C)

Serously.....you know how many 360 owners are danm excited for banjo like me, or how many wii60 owners there are? Theres been plenty of footage on Fable 2, demonstrations and all. Halo wars is made by Ensemble studioes (or something like that) who make age of empire games. RTS have done rather well on the 360, scoring alot higher then i thought, CC got an average of 82, only 3 lower then on the computer. Not all 360 owners are pure FPS.

Im also willing to take your bet on Lost odyssey sales compared to blue dragon, cause thats absolute crap.

360 has 4 or 5 Proven IPs coming next year, while not "Halo" size they are quite big

Fable 2 was one of the main reasons i chose a 360 over ps3 this gen (thank goodness i did) as is the possiblity of another KOTOR (they will make it, question is when!)

Banjo-just plain awsome

Splinter cell-never liked it but alot of people do

NG 2-name speaks for itself, if this isnt hyped, then i dont know whats wrong with you

Oh yeah and for all you losers getting all happy, even though this would mean both the PS3 and 360 would be suffering from these issues....rumor debunked

"Reports from N4G and Siliconera are saying that at the recent Square Enix fiscal meeting Square Enix said that development of the engine has become stagnant. This is not true, but a mistranslation. Google Translator mistranslates it as well, likely the source of their translation.

In the report on the fiscal meeting by impress.co.jp they speak of recent earnings from, and sales of, recent Square Enix games and only mention the white engine momentarily in the report. There is no further word on Final Fantasy XIII or development of the engine outside stating that development is NOT stagnant. This obviously means development of the white engine is still ongoing and going smoothly. It is likely of no worry that the engine is still being worked on as improvements to most game engines are continuous up to their games' completion.

Futhermore, it was earlier stated development has been smooth in other reports."

It really does seem that all xbox fanboys do is cheer PS3 faults, even at the expense of their own gaming experience. Pathetic really. Sooner or later people on this site are going to pick up a PS3, and they are going to enjoy it. Really I dont mind bragging that you have this game and that game, thats fine. But its pathetic seeing people cheer just because another console is losing exclusives or has a game pushed back. You gain nothing from that, so why all the excitement?

Now that it's been debunked, I'm going to lock this thread.

Don't bother complaining, I'm not going to pay attention.
