But on another note. Implementing motion technology along with HD technology means that development costs are going to skyrocket for developers using the Arc. The investment might not be worth the return in the end. Can't wait to see how much support this thing gets and for how long. The same with Natal. Nintendo is far cheaper to develop for thanks to no HD.

actually no there is a advance, console have less botnecks, and both hd console can use skins.

 

HD titles are only expensive if they want to be, you are nto forced to do a 1080p game.  for EA loss weight whatever :p

Yeap, this is the way... PS3 is a little lost on casual, Wii is the great console for local parties and local fun with kids, I see it by myself... friends come at my house with theyrs wii controls and we play wii all wwiiiiiiing together... PS3 I really like, but let´s face it... it´s not for people  playing together with instant fun... maybe this ARCH can bring something for this casual gamming... I am happy for this new feature, I just hope it really does at list work...

Gotta' love the sword flip. If they did an online sword MP title that would make a great taunt. Well, that's got me a little more interested than I was. Still waiting for the real 'meat' though - both on this and Natal.

Perfect way to entice both casual and hardcore would be for Sony to have an exclusive, high-quality, Star Wars lightsaber game at the launch of the Arc. It's the game thats no longer just perfect for the Wii and could now have shiny HD graphics. :P
