The PS3 Slim having been on the market for quite some time now, it has won the hearts of many though some were sceptical at first. For Sony it has been a huge success and is constantly looking for ways to reduce size as well as cost, which are beneficial for the consumer and the company in the long run. Sony has a long  history of trying to improve its hardware with countless and I am convinced that it will remain committed. The PS3 Slim is smaller, lighter, more efficient as well as consumer friendly compared to the original "phat" which it is commonly refered to.

Now its seems that Microsoft wants to follow suit with their own 360 Slim, it will be Microsofts first attempt at altering its original hardware design and we will have to wait and see if the rumors come true in the near future. Most of all, it will be interesting to see if they will simply make it slimmer or if they are going to adjust hardware features such as the processor itself or completely surprise us with something new.

I am 100% certain that there will be more versions of the current PS3 Slim as Sony wants its Playstation 3 to stay in the market place for at least 10 years, technological changes will most likely make its product more affordable in the future as well as efficient and reliable. On the other hand, it will be the first try for Microsoft, though we will have to see what their strategy is, if they simply want to make the current product more appealing etc etc, as they will most likely release an entirely new console before Sony does.

Many questions remain open, though I personally feel that Sony has the an edge over them in this field, therefore for me the PS3 Slim is my daddy.

Why cant i vote for none? I prefer the ps3 phat to slim. There isnt a 360 slim yet and i dont realy care for one either. Apple thing is a joke right?

Well, I did not include a "None" option as this poll is strictly for Slim or future Slim's, we could create a new poll Phat vs 360 Box and see how that turns out...and yes the Apple thing was a joke.

Wii; so the slimmer the better?

Of course Sony has the edge they are a hardware company with many many great engineers to work on problems. Ms, hardware wise has mouse/keyboards and webcams, which are most probably from another company that makes that sort of stuff just rebranded.

Xbox 360 will win cuz their slim version will be in fact slim. PS3 slim is as fat as the Xbox 360

Compared to the original, it is a lot slimmer, I believe that Sony will probably make the 'Slim' slimmer in the future. Though none of us at this stage actually know how slim the 360 version will be if there ever will be one.

if nintendo did a wii slim with different colors...by the gods, it would destroy *more than they already have* sony and MS....too bad my brilliant ideas go to waste =[
