Forums - Gaming - This E3 to be the most boring E3 ever???

Does nobody watch the Nintendo press conference for DS announcements anymore? I couldn't care less about the Wii Vitality Sensor or quite frankly anything Wii-related. Show me and give me dates for Golden Sun DS, Okamiden, and The Another World and then I'll be excited.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Sony's conference will still be good, it won't take long for them to tell us about the Arc, Nintendo already told us all about it in 2005.

So... Natal and Arc are boring???

Man, they are awesome!

Vitality Sensor sucks. Indeed.

What is Arc?

Supposubly it is motion control that has greater accuracy than wii motion plus, we can only hope, agree?

Well Im hopping Sony would reveal any of these games..

*Twisted metal
*Syphone filter
*Starhawk
*Demon souls 2
*heavenly sword 2
*infamous 2
*Insomiac new IP

other things Im hoping and has a high chance to be revealed are..

*Resistance 3
*Motorstorm 3
*Socom 4 gameplay
*killzone 3
*new LBP
*the last guardian new gameplay/info's
*Agent new footage!!

Ahhhh that shud definitly steal the show.

Are you kidding me? All three are surely gonna rock these E3. I'm usually not exited for MS lineup, but this year I'm looking forward to all three.
My predictions:

On Sony's side we have:

FFvXIII new trailer maybe
GT5 finally a release date?!
FFXIV gameplay
Agent new infos
Socom 4 new trailer
ICU Sony's anwers to Natal. Google it.
...and possibly new games we haven't even heard about. Doubt we gonna something new from TLG, though.

On MS side:
Fable III new trailer
Halo:Reach gameplay
Rock Band 3 gameplay (what else?)
new Rare game NOT for Natal
Gears of War 3 finally
Viva Pinata 2 NATAL-compatible
...and some other new games.

On Nintendo's side:

Zelda HELL YEAH!
Super Mario Galaxy 2 HELL YEAH!
Metoid:Other M HELL YEAH!
a shitload of WM+ games
Wii Fit Plus Plus? compatible with Vitality Sensor
Horror game compatible with Vitality Sensor
...and new games.

Add that to ARC and NATAL and we have a HUGE lineup for E3 2010. Form this list, I'd say I'm most looking forward to Nintendo's linup, but they will most likely only show games we already know about. People seem to be more exicted for new Announcements.

updated: 14.01.2012

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

Zelda will be at E3. And just to start crap, Nintendo already won

You trick us with your new cute picture... no one can call you out with something like that...

on topic:  Zelda would be awesome and likely Ubisoft has some Natal support coming on their fall franchises like Ghost Recon and maybe a Rainbow Six... I personally would find Natal's usage perfect for squad based combat games like this... you could use voice commands or basic military hand motions... make sure it's your trigger hand to add reality to the situation

here is a good question... remember most people thought Wiimote was retarded until there were masses of poeple who played it... could Microsoft replicate that if they are able to pull out all the stops with Natal by E3?

@cueil

problem with natal is its application in core games like character movements and etc....we have to wait and see what they do with it.they could just use it for some parts of core games but that way it will not catch on as many people will not see the value to play 10-20 min of the game using an add on that costs extra money.

we'll have to wait and see

it's manditory for all future Ubisoft games... I'm thinking they are a hardcore developer for the most part... yeah I know they have Petz... as for using Natal for hard core games... think of it more as a tool of immersion... you're sneaking through a swamp up to an enemy posistion and give silent commands with your own hands... these are things the character already does in game when you give commands... call sniper shots on your targets... it something that could still be done with standard control but just adding something like that into the game would deepen the immersion... that's only a tiny thing as well... using 3D head tracking to shoot out of a window... as you woudl in real life... leaning would be natural ... I wonder if they could do a game like the old sniper games they had for arcades...

NOTHING could be worse than e3 2008 nintendo, and zelda wii is revealed
