Forums - Nintendo - Arc Rise Fantasia English preview from IGN + New screens

I 4got about this game, I have a feeling its gonna end up like WKC though.

Around the Network

Undoubtedly a pretty game. This and Tales of Graces will (hopefully) be the appetizers with Xenoblade and Last Story as the main course.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I have a feeling the game will be ripped apart because it is turn-based, uninspired enemy design, the story is too similar to past RPGs, and somehow won't 'innovate enough'.

I'm going to say.......7.1? From IGN at least. Other places will be much harsher.

As for what I see here, no website seems to have a lot of info on the summons that are supposed to be in this game. Whether keeping it a secret is a good or bad thing I don't know, but I'm anxious. The game won't sell much but I hope it will at least be decent.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Look, it's in my hype meter!

I hope it'll be good.

This generation, that is an uncommon thing.

This is exactly what I have wanted for 2 years as well. But when reviews tell you otherwise, don't let their negativity fool you. What you underlined there, is what they are going to consider cons.

Yeah.

But since I bought WKC it would be lame not to buy this game lol

ARF will be a game the players love, critics hate or dont appreciate. I do have to say the only con so far are the characters.

I really like the slew of Jrpgs the wii is getting this year. I will love me some Jrpg goodness.
