If Nintendo suffers a shitstorm from others while the dumbass father gets away with leaving a gun in the reach of a child.....................*sigh*

No.  In most states gun ownership is considered a right.  In fact, one of the most important rights.  It is often taken away if people are convicted felons or found to be insane.  Otherwise, it many states, there are few restrictions.

That is the way it should be, now the father and mother should be put in jail for what they did. If a child killed herself with a knife in front of the parents would the views this be different?

You defend yourself from a person drugged up looking to steal stuff for money for drugs without using a gun. See how well that works. Just do it. It wont end well.

So there is no chance that your daughter will get your gun and shoot herself or you and your wife. These things don't happen?????? See how well that works...

 

Did you miss the part in my first post where I said you have to take care so accidents dont happen? 4 children raised in one house with 12 guns in it. No one got killed. No one discharged a weapon.

That's the theory behind a gun in the first place, you get it so you don't have to use it. As I have said before, if everyone has a gun it's as if nobody does.

this never would have happened if this was natal where there is no guns involved at all.....until someone decides it's a great idea to play RE5 with an actual gun. XD

seriously though, these parents (using the term loosely) should be imprisoned or something. How does this happen by accident with a parent in the same room?

I am in complete agreement with Montana Hatchet on this one.

I have no problems with guns per se. But I have a big problem with people not taking the due care with their guns.  And that is the case here.
