Forums - Gaming - Main weakness of Sony, MS and Nintendo..in your opinion.

And the lack of HD graphics makes Nintendo focus on the gameplay, and Galaxy on VGChartz is the highest rated game with beautiful graphics, son. Graphics doesn't matter if the gameplay is deep and fun.

Sorry your mad at my opinion. This whole thread is meant to let people complain about each company and thats what I did. You don't find me bitching at annoying Ninty fanboyz who say annoying things about Sony and Microsoft I dont like.

Yes graphics are not everything, it is about fun and I gave up on Nintendo's fun with the N64. I might go back some day.

Well they are some limits in the opinion of someone else. When you're saying Nintendo live in the 80's and tdon't create new IP's, you're wrong. But lack of HD graphics, I'll let you. But next gen, I'll be glad to see HD graphics.

So will I be glad for HD, but I will only respect new IP's I care to play. Any company that makes something new I don't care about, means I will continue not to care about it.

Sony: Focus is to broad with their hands into to many hardware markets that are not gaming. Not until recently trying to bridge their different markets together (3D tvs + movies + PS3, the Best Buy TV deal, etc)

Microsoft: Focus is to broad with their hands in to many software markets that are not gaming. Not until recently have they tried to bridge these markets together (W7 Mobile + Live + Windows 7 Live interactions).

Nintendo: Doing their Own Thing. This gen it has worked WONDERFULLY, but look at the Cube and the N64. They refused to go with how the industry was shifting (disc based for N64, Gamecube not playing DVDs out of the box).

Until I thought about this, its at the same time shocking and not shocking at all, that MS and Sony are very closely related (tho in their own fields).
