It's not that, it's just because people refuse to accept that games could possibly be better than their personal favorites. 10 years from now, Dragon Age: Origins will have replaced all of the Baldur's Gate mentions.

I did ask for what people themselves think. Not the highest rated games by critic scores. Or highest rated games by user score.

Well I personally think games today lacks something that some older games had. They generally feel a bit hollow and it's hurting the Pc games. The pc and console market should be apart. IMO!!!

I like that they are so close. A person can switch from one to the other without being overwhelmed.
