Natal gets Suda's interest
No More Heroes creator, Goichi Suda - aka Suda51 - has given his views on the motion control/sensing technology that will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.
No More Heroes was originally planned to be an Xbox 360 exclusive, but once Suda saw the technology Nintendo were to offer with the Wii, the title changed platforms. When asked about the supposed ‘Arc’ and Project Natal though, the Grasshopper Manufacture CEO’s comments went against the Sony peripheral, and favoured the control free Natal.
“Why develop a game for the competition (Sony) while their device is exactly the same as Nintendo’s?” he said, in an interview with Gamers.fr. “I'm not really excited about the gadget from Sony. Natal is great, it would be interesting to work on it”
We can’t expect every developer to love the PS3’s motion controller, but with over 80% of worldwide developers working on Natal enabled titles, it’s looks to be tough for the device.
