Meh, Rorschach's journals are a better example of doing away with political correctness.

The film was good, but the soundtrack did not go with it at all imo. Way too many obvious choices that were used just to set the time period that did not fit anything that was happening. That and Dr. Manhattan had a weird vibe in the film that he didn't have in the graphic novel, but that's just my opinion.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

But... people are black. I can see them RIGHT NOW if I look out my window. Black people aren't this rare exotic treat forced into our films by unions and PC assholes. They're a real part of the world, and most films are about the real world.

So... what the hell are you talking about?

Oh please, how many films have had the "Happy best friend black guy who is comedy relief".

So boring... seeing it all the time.

This annoys me. You think having a black character makes something politically correct? That's just stupid.

No, just the ones that are there for the clear purpose of simply being there and not having any other purpose beyond being a black guy in a film. They typically have nothing to do with the story and are just there to make bad jokes.

And I think of this for any minority in a film. Like the female love interest who gains some random love for the main character when they've never even had a decent conversation (like in The Mummy 3).

So anyone who isn't a white male in a movie, pisses you off? That's not right.

Only if they have no greater purpose than being politically correct. Which is pretty common.

What-if's are pointless. That's not looking at the reality of the situation, the exact opposite actually.
