Hello good people of the VGC staff.. i got to ask you something.

Why dont you have a "move" feature in the forums? Countless times you come across 360/PC games in the Microsoft section and within 10 posts you have the old 'why is this posted in the Microsoft section' - which later transforms into a huge dabate on why a PC that runs Windows is apart of Microsoft. And later how wikipedia defines what a platform is when seting the standards to what qualifies as a microsoft platform and thereby a Microsoft platform, and since a console is a gaming platform to where this certain game is playable one is correct in posting the news in this or that section. Geez.

Id suggest you get a Move feature or just lock threads that should be in another section as fast as possible. If the news is really worth mentioning they can take the time to re-post in in the correct section. This way we don't have to read through X amount of posts arguing something irrelevant to the news itself, aswell as limiting the flaiming and potential ban-work that comes with it.

i nearly forgot that other forums can move threads.

People should pay attention to what/where they post.

^basicly all forums have the move feature and use it frequently. I just think it would save everyone so much time and effort if they just stuck to the "rules" or guidelines. It would also limit the confusion to what verion one was refering to.

As i only go xbox related answers to my question on how to import your ME1 savefiles to ME2 :) I shouldn't have to make a PC thread regarding the same "news" as already posted in another section when trying to get some info one my platform, just to find out its been locked due to already being posted elsewhere.

That would take too much effort and people would pick up on sarcasm more often.

I will agree with this. We just need to have more power to modify threads in general, for mods and non-mods alike. Mods should be able to move, and we should be able to edit thread titles, especially as fundamental facts are learned that might modify the relevant thread title, or you find out you made a stupid spelling mistake...
