I hoped for at least one of the following:

Legend of Dragoon 2

Dark Cloud 3

A real Wild Arms Sequel. I refuse to acknowledge 4, 5 and XF. Goddamn Hex battle system bullshit.

Socom is pretty good too...I guess.

I was expecting some mildly interesting. This was pretty excellent, though. It's also something i would have never expected since MAG just released.

Glad to hear it though. Socom's on PS2 were all amazing and I'm glad Zipper's working on this full blown Socom title.

The announcement was for a 1st party title. That's a completely different publisher.

First of all, Confrontation is shit and never recieved the post release support that it needed, it got a small amount but it was still shit.

Now we got MAG and it looks like its just going to be a repeat of Confrontation.

SOCOM 4 will be the same.


Confrontation was shit because it was developed by some random developer called Slant 6, Socom 4 is being made by Zipper. I don't know how you got your connection that MAG will end up like Confrontation...

Thread: Anyways, I'm happy with Socom 4, if anything I would have probably wanted Jak 4, but I can only hope for the future.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Wouldn't it be difficult to announce a sequel for a new IP that isn't even out yet?

 

although I do agree, rather a new IP than continued milking.

Announce that they're making a sequal of a new IP and that the original will be released after? lol. Who says we cant get like Killzone 2 before we get Killzone 1...actually if they did that maybe there'd be a bigger Killzone fanbase
