Hey guys, so Sony announced that the secret game that was to be announced on GT TV was SOCOM 4 being developed by the original developers, Zipper. After reading a couple of threads on various forum sites and comment sections of gaming sites, I found quite a large population of gamers who were rather disappointed with the announcement. Many had high hopes that Sony was going to announce a new Twisted Metal or Jak and Daxter etc etc etc. I feel your pain as well for I too had hoped for another IP to return as well, but my feelings of loss and sorrow dwindled away after I read the IGN article that briefly described the game. It was rather impressive.  So Forum, the question I will ask is, what video game or video game franchise/ IP did you hope for Sony to announce instead? 

( No flaming please, just leave a response of what game you desired to be announced the most )

Last month "MAG" with 265 players on battlefield...and now..YEAH! Killzone 3, next Resistance and Socom 4 - only on Ps3 and i have it :D

First, it's a TPS.

Second, nothing. I had no real expectation as to what they were going to announce, but I think this sounds nice.

I was kind hoping for KZ3 but was expecting Pain2 instead.
SOCOM4 is a good compromise

When... when i ask... are we going to get to play Chaos Legion II?!



Guess i just have to continue fantasizing about it in my dreams while i touch my robin hood dagger. :/

If they were gonna give us a shooter, I would've much preferred Killzone 3.

i'm sure there will be a killzone 3 all in good time. killzone 2 just came out last year, i don't want them to force one out every year and ruin the franchise like what's currently happening with call of duty. just give them time to make quality games.

I know Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 are going to come (as sick as I am of shooters), a Zipper developed SOCOM game certainly doesn't hurt.
