No. But I would like you to accept that God of War, although it shares certain similarities to Bayonetta, is not 100% in the same genre. I would also like you to understand that there are people who actually care about GoW even though you don't.

I would like you to understand that GoW III is undoubtedly superior to Bayonetta graphically and scale-wise. I would also like you to know that even though Bayonetta may have a very good combat system, GoW isn't very far away if you're willing to play the game on the harder difficulties where button mashing will take you no where.

I would also like you to leave this thread if you can't understand that.

And to people who say " I'm pretty sure GoW3 doesn't deserve a 10" -

How do you know ? It has awesome graphics, and is by far the biggest game in terms of scale and it has an awesome story which is about to be concluded with a bang ! And previews suggest that the opening sequence is one of the best ever in video-games, and I'm sure the rest of the game is equally awesome...sooo...

What exactly do you mean ? Are you assuming GoW 3 is over-rated without even playing it ? Smooth

I just entered the thread and I have seen you preferring Bayonetta over GoW :
"Bayonetta has more personality in her left high heel."

I find it funny that you focus on comparing the 2 main characters of these games while Bayonetta is really an hardcore title (not like GoW3) that was praised by reviewers MAINLY because of the deep gameplay and a LOT less because the girl hero "has more personality in her left high heel". At best reviewers mentionned Bayonetta's amazing body but that is about all.

At the end, it is a bit weird to prefer Bayonetta over GoW just because of the main character.
to me, the 2 games are so different that I dont even try to compare them.

GoW3 is most definitely a hard core game. I don't ever recall it being mainstream, or casual... pretty sure it's always been a game designed for the basement dweller like I used to be ;)

Well...God of War is a hard core game, but audience-wise it doesn't only appeal to hardcore gamers.

Adrenaline-Jockeys can be casuals too.

The game might be great, but IGN isn't exactly a source that will go any distance to convince me of it.
