- Dual Analog nubs

- Trophy support.

- Built in flash memory and an expandable slot

- DD only.

- Sized like the PSPgo with all of it's features intact (bluetooth etc.)

- 6.5 gen level graphics (in between PS2 and PS3)

Nobody cares about games these days, eh? Only bells and whistles. What games it has supposedly to offer at launch?

I thought about it, but I really don't know what the most popular PSP games would be. I think a cool FPS to show off the dual analog, so a Killzone portable maybe?, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker bundle, FFVII remake . Anyone know what software would pull people into this in droves?

I'd get it when there are some games out that really interest me.
Don't care about dual analog or trophies. Don't particularly like DD only (unless they truly price games accordingly).

I think you are on the right track with what the PSP2 will offer too.

Only thing I will add is it will most likely be announced the same day they announce B/C for all PS3 models (via Firmware) that will only support PSN downloaded PS2 games. Meaning your old B/C models will work for both, while slims/newer phats will only support them downloaded (no disc B/C).

The new PSP2 will support these PS2 downloaded games as well. I also think Sony will actually (holy shit here is comes) SUPPORT this handheld. No matter how you look at the PSP, it is a success from top to bottom.

after having 2 psps break on me i vote no way in hell

im nintendo only on handhelds

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Wii Friend Code: 4094-4604-1880-6889

PSP 2 needs to have these things in my opinion.

+ Dual analog sticks
+ Built in Wifi and Bluetooth
+ Playstation home console connectivity
+ Built in camera
+ Anti-glare/print resistant screen
+ 5" screen
+ Touchscreen
+ tactile buttons (Triangle, Square, Circle, X, L1, L2, R1, R2, PS button, Start and Select)
+ A Dualshock design, making it feel like a controller (which if done right could act bring about some interesting connectivity options with PS3 and PS4)
+ 64 gb built in flash memory (with an additional 10 gb dedicated to other things that Sony can introduce later, like a PS Home type thing, but more in the style of Free Realms)
+ M2 slot
+ DD and UMD 2.0 support. (if they go all digital then they have to allow customers to carry over their exsisting catalog. Or else that's a no buy for me)

Now what Sony needs to get rid off with the PSP 2.

- The nubs gotta go. By going with sticks you get much better control.
- No more plastic chunks for shoulder buttons.
- The current batteries, get thrown out.
- Single PSN accounts? BUH BYE!
- Having to sit the PSP down and do something else while you download stuff....come on! That's gone.
- Tiny speakers. Step it up. Those are gone too. Bring the noise Sony, BRING IT!!

Not until they announce good games for it (God of war, Uncharted etc.) and not until it drops under 200$.

No way. There's not enough good games I learned on the PSP and it doesn't bring enough to the table. It's just a mini PS3 with same franchises.

Sony should also have either a God of War game, an Uncharted game or a GT game ready to go at launch.

And it has to release at launch of the system, not 5 years later with a revised version of the system.

I'd probably buy it when they release the first new model, given there are some good games on the system.
