Yes. I can't say that I've seen any angels myself (however, I still believe in them), but I have seen and dealt with demons before.

theyre about as real to me as the tooth fairy

this is a pretty funny topic tbh

but yeh id love to hear you explain why they are real. cus wow, lack of evidence big time.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Yes. Given the fact I've dealt with them before, I have no choice but to believe otherwise.

Ok you have to share!

I was actually thinking about this a few weeks ago when I saw Paranormal Activity.

My answer is no, but just like with religion, I'm open to the fact I could be wrong since it's something I can't explicitly prove.

*SPOILERS FOR PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, kind of...*

There's suppodly a demon in the peoples house and the people are told don't agitate it or encourage it.

Knowing I don't believe in demons, I would still follow that advice because:

  1. I could perform tests like fuck with Ouiji Boards and potentially anger it if it does exist or end up in the exact same spot if it didn't.
  2. I could take the advice and continue ignoring it. I don't believe in it anyways so it can't do anything to me.

I'm pretty sure Ron Howard exists.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yep, I do.

Any evidence to suggest they do.....No
Any reason to think they exist.....No

Although i think i saw one last week in the sweets section at the my local supermarket. I was also visited by Santa on "Chistmas" and the tooth fairy just a few weeks back.

Im more inclined to believe in flying sheep or perhaps even swimming pigs but this concept you speak of is way to insane. Please can people elaborate on why they think they exist?

I have probably half a dozen or more stories of crazy supernatural things. Most of the stuff was when I was younger (14-16), when I was involved in churches that placed a bigger focus on dealing with demonology and things of that nature.

Event One:

My parents had a very close friend who went to church with them for ~20 years. Big burly guy - looked like someone that could snap you in half if you looked at them the wrong way.

At some point, he believed his house was being harassed by demons. Electronics would randomly turn on/off in the house. He would hear footsteps on the front porch, late at night, only to find no footprints or traces of anyone that was there (this happened many nights in succession). He would hear crashing noises in his kitchen, only to open up cupboards and find smashed plates inside the cabinet. Crazy stuff.

He invited my parents, my brother and I all over to his house one night to pray over the house, and exorcise whatever was there. We arrived later in the evening. After we arrived, at one point, we all heard the footsteps on the front porch, only to not see anyone there. When we began the 'exorcism' (I really don't have any other word for it. It was essentially prayer and anointing of the house), we walked through the house slowly. At certain areas, you could feel the temperature drop for absolutely no reason, and at least for myself, felt that something was there watching me. When we encountered that feeling, we prayed until that feeling left. Repeat ad nauseum until the entire house was prayed over. I want to say there were other strange events that ocurred while we were there, but I don't want to imbellish the facts of the event.

Once the evening was over, whatever was there left, and he reported no further issues with any strange or odd activity. I know that some of the things I've stated sound similar to something out of a ghost hunter show, but this happened about 6-8 years ago, and I had no knowledge of any sort of situation that involved similar characteristics.

Event Two:

Similar time period as the first one. We were attending church in another town for about 6 months, helping them 'build' the church. Whenever we went there, something always felt out of place. At their easter service, things felt even more out of place. They had the strangest communion ceremony. Rather than a public 'standard' communion ceremony, they had a hall filled with rose petals and symbols where the communion elements were held. My family felt really strange about the whole event. When we left, we decided right then and there to never go back to the church, because it just felt like something out of a strange movie.

When we got home, we felt really uneasy for some reason - like someone or something was watching us. So the family (parents + brother) decided to pray about whatever was going on. As we were praying, my brother and I decided to open up our eyes at a similar time. When I did, I saw some sort of dark/shadowy figure standing near us, and as we continued the prayer, it shrank in size - from about 5' 8" (humanoid, bipedal size) down to about 3' or so. At that point, I visibly saw it run away to another room. At that point, I realized my brother had his eyes open and was looking at the same thing I was.

We went to where we believed the figure went to, but could not see it, or feel any sort of strange presence. My brother and I told our parents what happened - confirming eachother's story.

After we left the church, we kept in contact with one or two people at the church, but not the leaders. We eventually found out that the pastor's wife, who set up the communion ceremony was secretly some sort of psycic with involvement with demonology and other supernatural things. From my understanding, she placed some sort of curse on the people that left the church - including us. I haven't heard anything from them or that situation in years, but I can confirm that shortly after we left the church, it went belly-up and became a psycic palm-reading store....Strange stuff.

_________

Those are the two that I can think of off the top of my head that I was involved in, personally. I know that my parents, and their close friends have seen stuff that was far scarier than I have like people transforming into creatures, dealing with human posession, and other crazy demon-related stuff.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

That sounds crazy! I don't doubt you at all but its such a vast concept to grasp i would need evidence for myself i think. Similar to religon in my case i would like to add.
