2k just can't seem to produce a good baseball game anymore. They're getting less and less sales every year, and more and more people are buying The Show instead. Looking at the latest pre-order charts, 2k's baseball game doesn't even show up in the top 30 (meaning less than 19k preorders on either console, or a maximum of 30-35k combined at the moment) while The Show is at 50k already. I guess it's all a matter of time before 2k finally gives up... IGN just recently gave 2k10 a 7/10, and I'm expecting The Show 10 to get a 9/10. But that means Microsoft will have no baseball game anymore when 2k gives up... eh, maybe they'll be better by the time 2k11 comes, but by that time, The Show's popularity will have skyrocketed beyond reach.

Pity that Sony's basketball games suck.

Well... let's see if the MLB game get's a boost or the chance of willing a million dollars... people love "easy money" xD

It really is a pity the life isnt as good as 2K10.

You know, it would be really easy for The Show to completely whoop the MLB 2K series. The problem? It's Sony exclusive. If MLB 2K is losing sales, it's all of because its own declining quality.

Yeah the Show is way better. 2k is trying to get sales going by offering a million to the 1st person to get a perfect game but it seems that many people don't care to try for it. It's hard to get a perfect game anyway.

I hate to say it but maybe it's time for 2k to let baseball go like EA did and focus on what makes them the most money.
