This thread is for you so called Final Fantasy "fans"

Total:0

It has come to my attention how certain so called fans have been calling fans of the series "not real fans" just because we're not hyped or happy to hear about the changes/reviews in Final Fantasy. Here's what I posted in another thread to save time.

By the way, for all of you claiming to be "real" fans. True fans are the harshest of all fans and will call out any flaw with their favorite game/team/etc. When your favorite thing is not performing you bitch and bitch hard to the creator/owner of such thing you're a fan off. You are not a fan by claiming everything is great and perfect about what you're a fan of. Take for example team sports. When your team sucks you follow it, but you sure as hell will be bitching and moaning to the owners so they can make the team better again. Now that is a true fan!

So basically I want to say to  you people calling us "not fans" of Final Fantasy to get off your horses. You're the one not being a fan by not acknowledging that the game is flawed. I'm not saying that it should fit everyone tastes, but the series has definitely changed quite a lot in an area that did not need change. I'm talking about a massive world map, areas to explore that are not part of the storyline, and having retarded NPCs that will repeat the same crap over and over again. The series definitely needs to advance and become more mature. But they definitely didn't need to take away what gives the name "Fantasy" away from it.

Done with my rant here.

Around the Network

I figured there were true/real fans and then there were fanboys.

Not sure this needs explaining.

No we're saying stop bitching because you haven't played the game yet.
I'm not directly talking about you because I don't know if you have played the game but a lot of people are complaining and they haven't even played the game yet! That's not correct.
