There's two sides to every story and all we know right now is that the head of Infinity Ward has been fired.  I like to see more of what transpired before judging Activision on their actions. 

As far as Sledgehammer creating a COD game will just has to wait see what comes of it. It might turn out to be something great.  But it looks like Activision is getting ready to milk the COD name and franchise much like they did to Guitar Hero.  That would be a shame.

It's also possible they are going to Spin Off the Modern Warfare name into it's own franchise like they had planned earlier with Modern Warfare 2.  It goes along with their earlier statements about milking franchises.

A lot of questions and very few answers...Just have to wait and see how it unfolds.

Wow, what a bunch of asshats. This probably won't affect Activision for a while, but once the new COD games come out and they are shit, how long will the money keep rolling in? It won't be long until another gaming company grabs the 2 chaps that were fired (or hopefully they start their own company). It would be so nice if nearly everyone from IW quit and went to work for them.

I am one of the only people who boycott MW2 due to Activision being complete jackasses! I just hope the rest of the world wakes up and realises what a bunch of chimps Activision are.

Most "normal" people will have no idea what kind of BS Activision does behind the scenes.  However after the quality starts going down hill things will change.  A company can only last for so long if they keep killing off their top guys.  I guess Activision is all about the short term....

As for me, I am not saying I will never purchase another Call of Duty game.  But it will take a hell of a good game for me to do so.
