I have Soul Silver!

I'm 10 hours in and I'm having a blast. Good souvenirs.

I got Soul Silver. My trainer is a boy and his name is Angel. I am 54 hours in and I am in Kanto trying to find my way around. I'm about to fight Koga's doughter.

Quilava

Crockinaw

Jirachi

Yes all three starters are shiny... The things I do for pokemon. Jirachi was the event at gamestop.

Usually the other two depends on what I'm doing. If I'm fighting a gym battle I gear up for that, if I'm traveling it's usually pidgotto and feebas.

Put me up there with the VASTLY SUPERIOR IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY Soul Silver version. My team will (eventually) be :

Well i personally chose to Start with Chikorita only because all the starters from this generation blow so they are all useless for competitve battles... Feraligatr Typhlosion and Meganium......just for a lack of Grass competition i chose Chikorita as i prolly wont train any other grass types...i chose Soul Silver just because my all time favorite Ninetails is availble with Vulpix being exclusively Silver

I'm really tempted to buy Soul Silver, but I haven't played a Pokemon game in years (since Red/Blue).

What do you guys think? Is this a new starting point to get back into the series, or should I kiss my preteen years goodbye and embrace my mid-twenties with Monster Hunter Tri and Dragon Quest IX?

Concidering it's a remake of the second game in the series... Yeah... you got nothing to lose.

just got heart gold, cyndaquil ftw. have holidays in 2 days so will be able to play through it all! if anyone can help me out by trading some of the startes and soul silver exclusive pokemon it would be a great help :D
