Ok down to these two cards, Radeon is giving me some Windows 7 driver problems..

My budget is less then $100, but will push to the $100 mark if it's that much better and I found these two, and a Compusa Store is near my house, so no worries on shipping.

which one is the better buy, aiming for BF2 medium settings, think one of these can do it for the small budget I have.

BFG GeForce 9800 GT Video Card - 1024MB GDDR3

or

BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC Video Card - Overclocked Edition, 512MB GDDR3

Any help, or better suggestions for the money, please feel free to add.

Note: Going with BFG because of their Lifetime Warranty, and read they make great cards, also New to Geforce, never used them, except onboard cards.

I'd look for an ati 4850 or 4870. a 9800gt would be one the last cards I'd consider getting...
anyone if you are in america, then check out newegg.

Agree with cura. Heres a link for a 4850 from Newegg for $99.99. I would recommend this over any 9800.

Long Live SHIO!

Are you guys sure it's a better card?

I have ONLY bought Radeon's, but the last card HD 3650 has this stupid BSOD Memory Dump error, and it points to a drive issue failer.

So then I picked up a Radeon HD 4650, but don't want to go through the problems of this Windows 7 driver problem...

GT 9800 $99.99 on sale down the street:

Specs great for the price.

Powercolor HD 4850 $99.99 plus shipping:

Specs great for the price.

I had a Powercolor X8000 something, don't remember it was like 3-4 years ago, the  problem was it broke after a few monhs, but powercolor gave me a new one and then that one broke, and I got the HD 3650, so I don't know what to do..

If you get the 9800, don't get it from CompUsa. It's $20 cheaper on TD

Edit: My bad, just saw your other post about it being on sale. Your link has it at 120 though.

If that helps, I have a crossfire of 4870s and I had no problems with the Win 7 beta.

I would use this as a reference for price/performance if I lived in America. (I still do but I can't get those prices here.)

Man.. Im confused...

Just read this saying the GF 9800 is the same as the GF 8800, with some minor energy support feature.

The lifetime warrenty is whats cathing my eye as well..

Ya, the 9800 is on sale for $99

Ok, now I have it down to these two cards:

ATI Radeon HD 4850 / $99.00 Tax Free & Free Shipping

or

GeForce 9800 Free COD4 (want star wars MOD) / $111.31 & Free Shipping

From comparisons HD4850 is a slightly better card.
