So I have to ask you, why aren't you holding it up to the same standard as Mass Effect 2 and Uncharted 2? I'm curious, do you hold Alan Wake up to the same standard as those two games? |
Hey, I think it's going to be a financial failure. But people on this forum didn't expect much out of Heavy Rain in terms of sales, hence it's not compared to Mass Effect 2 or Uncharted 2. Of course if Jack Tretton started posting about what a great start it had, then you might have a point ;)
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
Heavy rain toped charts... My faith on the taste of the gaming community is back, they are starting to appreciate quality and innovation.
Hum....Alien vs Predator and Just Dance is there also... forget everything I just said. :(
WE GAMERS ARE DOOMED :(

I saw a news article on the front page saying around 500K week one, which would be pretty good for a title like this I think.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
the ps3 version of GTAIV is getting huge bumps cause of the DLC releasing end of this month. also uncharted 2 showing strong legs like the first game, must have incredible word of mouth. should sell 5m+ lifetime.
