I have no idea why a server issue would not allow you to view them locally though, particularly if you completely disconnect from the internet and attempt to view them.  Seems like a very weird error.

On fourms people are saying it happens to all games that have trophies but I don't know. I'm really burnt out now and I don't really care about how the trophies work no I just want my PSN to work. Oh, and I'm not lashing out at you for saying that, what you said is good info.

 

Does anyone think that maybe the servers think it's a leap year so it messed up?

I don't think its just Heavy Rain, Am actually experiencing the same thing, My white knight chronicles does not work, whenever i try to play it comes up with this:

trophy failed to load. Please use the PS button to quit

I can't Log on PSN either, and my PS3 date is 12/31/1999

My psn wasn't log on before this happened, so before this happened i was playing White knight chronicles, i tried to log in to play online in WKC but i still couldn't log on so i thought maybe ill play online tomorrow. i decided to take a break and turn off my PS3, when i turnt it back on and tried to play WKC it loaded up but when it tried to load the trophy i got trophy failed to load and it asked me to quit the game. It can't be PSN server down/ they've just confirmed with me that they are able to log in, hes on a PS3 slim but i got the fat one, could this be a problem for fat PS3 only?

 

Anyone with PS3 Slim experiencing this problem?

I did understand you well. But something else must be causing the glitch even if the error message brings up trophies. I know people playing this game without internet.

Are they collecting trophies without internet?

I've only played Heavy Rain offline, and I've been able to get trophies.

Yeah, but do you have internet connected to it. But really I'm starting to not care anymore, I just want PSN to work.

Well I got the H.R. Plat yesterday and haven't played it since. So I shouldn't be affected.

Also it must be the server that is messed up if the trophies of all games are dissappearing once you try to play. (If I'm not spelling things right I don't care right now, I WANT MY PSN)

Actually, it "kinda" just came up, looked all messed up, I only have 3 WKC trophies?! lol wow, I beat the game and I only have 3, that's insane haha

I don't play much attention to trophies, just now noticed that I am 4% and I finished the game... lol well, got a bit over a week till FFXIII, gonna try and get to 10% :P
