No a lot of people are connected to PSN at the moment, it is NOT down. It is also not related to heavy rain, its just that a lot of people are playing heavy rain right now.

i think this is like a Y2K virus or something, even people that have NEVER CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET EVER are experiencing this problem and none of their games are playable now, how is anything sony does going to fix that?

i can confirm the off line thing. my ps3 isn't connected to the internet or any network wether hard wired or wireless and i'm getting the same freaking problem. what the fuck? did sony put a freaking timebomb on the ps3 phats so that it just stops working and were forced to get a slim?

i mean, i'm off line and shouldn't have been affected but BAM! ps3 aint working right. wkc not working, all psn not working, except for demos.

where and how did you get this link?

I was checking the PlayStation forums on the official site and someone had a link to it. I wouldn't go there because the site itself is acting all crazy. Idk if its being hacked too. That is, if this is a hack at all, but my gut feeling was exactly that.
