During the story, thanks to the the conversations, cutscenes and flashbacks the player learns more and more about the mysterious characters, so that the player will fell in love with humanity of every individual character. In addition to that, there are many twists during the journey and the same faith of every character makes each person stronger and the whole group weld together.

They are also explaining what kind of world Cocoon is, what the fal'Cie and l'Cie are.. But you don't want to get spoiled, do you?
