Forums - Sony Discussion - GT5: GTAcademy coming to NA + Yoshida explains long dev time + New Screens

I'm so tired of PD posting real cars, passing them on as in-game. I refuse to be hyped for this game until I see real footage!!

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

That video was amazing. Everything looks exactly the same but the trees. the trees are in the right spot but they are different amazing.

The visuals on the tracks themselves, the ground/tarmac or whatever look like they've been polished. It looks far more realistic now.

^ Does it really matter what the trees are? PD is focusing on what is important, this will be the first racing sim I buy.

It's one thing I continuously hear haters nitpicking. So, I'd like it to be resolved.

Besides, the game is aiming for realism.

Don't get me wrong, this is a day 1 buy, as a long time Gran Turismo fan (it, PGR, and Burnout are the only 2 racers I've always played, FM3 and NFS1 are the only two exceptions).

Mario Kart's the only racer I can really get into, though I started enjoying sim racers a good bit after I actually started driving (I got GT5P for $10, and played it for awhile).

I'll probably get GT5, though I'm not sure how much time I'll really put into it.

Well, I was referring to more realistic simulators (though they can still be arcadey). But taking Kart racers into account, then definitely Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing as well.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
