So in that case conservatives are dimwits? Shall I send Satoshi my A+ thesis or should I yell at him in Spanish, Italian, or German? Here's English - Satoshi can kiss the fattest part of my ass...

IQ is a worthless metric. It does not test real intelligence.
(Not saying that because I don't score well, I just hate the common perception of IQ meaning intelligence, or even 'good at maths' meaning intelligence. The media (especially TV shows) tend to say 'X is really clever; she has an IQ of 173' and leave it at that in terms of characterisation)
What about a study of liberalism/religious beliefs vs. life success (e.g. income, living conditions, personal happiness, stable family).

Got any proof for this? Because just about everything I've seen or heard indicates the opposite. But I'd love to learn something new.

Correlation does not imply causation - the study does not exclude the possibility of high-IQ conservatives at all. The correlation described is weak anyway. Also anecdotes do not prove/disprove a study.
Unrelatedly, what subject is your thesis in?

I'm sure I can dig something up though it's been a while.
It's easy to note though that IQ correlates VERY strongly with where you grow up and socio-economic factors.
The only thing really that "pulls down" the effect is well... race. Minorities are more likely to be democrats, though also more likely to be conservative socially ironically.

IQ is such an indecisive variable.

I agree with Monti here, Poor people want Government to help, while those who have it better wants gov to stay away.

Have you ever seen the rich/poor state splits when it comes to whether they voted for Bush or Gore?

rich and poor state is very different vs actual poor and rich people.
I live in New York, there are as many poor people here than those little states you speak of

Earmarked projects to rural states. Developed, highly urban states don't need so much stuff.
