Obvious reasons are actually fairly obvious.

The better areas you grow up in... the more likely you are to be liberal. While the poorer areas are more likely to be conservative.

Which is always funny because it's generally a bunch of middle class people saying "We know what's better for you" and a bunch of poorer people saying "We want to take care of our damn selves."

It's the same reason why conservatives are more likely to donate to charity... the poorer you are, the more you focus on what YOU can do and what effects YOU have on your enviroment, rather then what everyone else can do for you, since from an younger age you had to look out for yourself.

How you grow up also is going to effect athleticism... based on younger nutrition etc... and sexual desire is often tied to how healthy you are.

I used to be about the most liberal person you'd know... until I actually met some poor people and found out what they generally want out of a system adn realized that what people want more then anything is just incentive to work hard.  To just feel like if they work hard they can make it.

They generally don't want overarching liberal plans.  They just want to clear out laws to make sure everyone gets a fair shake... even if it means starting at the bottom.

Got any proof for this? Because just about everything I've seen or heard indicates the opposite. But I'd love to learn something new.
