I understand what do you mean, Ps3 is seriously an expansive system.....not the price of the console itself but their games usually costs more than those on Wii or 360.... I just wanted to buy heavy rain for example, 70euros, definetly it's not whort it. But, even thought so the Ps3 is worth its price, is an excellent media player and has a great and complete game library, it is also the best blu-ray player on the market.

Still I don't think either that exclusives alone are a sufficient reason to choose it over the 360....Seroisly I don't see the reason to own a Ps3 if you're already got the 360 in terms of gaming, they're really very similar consoles. Still I have bought the Ps3 after 360 because of its mulltimedia capabilites, I personally like very much to watch movies and listen to music as much as I like play videogames.

What I mean is that If you consider the Ps3 only as a gaming system, the price difference compared to 360 it's not justified, but If you consider it as a universal entertaing console it's probably one of the most cost-effective systems ever made.

As for failures....I have cahnged 2 ps3's in one year, thank god the warranty was still valid when it happened, but now the ps3 slim is more reliable, I guess.

Really? So you would deprive your self from playing what exclusives ps3 has to offer because you alrdy own a xbox360? well to me I dont see a reason to own a 360 at all when I can play many of its "exclusive" on my PC......

I haven't bought X360 for its exclusives, just because it had complete library, and it was cheap....80% of Ps3's games are already on 360 , its ture that many x360 games are also on pc, but the pc libray it's not as much complete....(there aren't good fighting games or jRPGs on PC for example) besides with the exception of fps games I generally prefer to play games on console (less compatibilty problems, it doesn't take 6min to start a game.....), I never said something like the x360 is better than the Ps3, just that Ps3 exclusives were not the reason why I bought it.

Lucky u i only got Final Fantasy 7,8 Marvel vs Capcom 2,Super street fighter 2 turbo HD,I've played a bunch of games on it the exclusives look really nice

Normally I do ignore these kinds of threads but I found the "buy a PS3 guys" in the thread title was hard to ignore since it's blatant advertising.  How many threads do you see in this forum with "buy a Wii" or "buy a 360" in them?  Seriously the tired "buy a PS3" meme got old a long time ago. 

As for buying a PS3 I'd f*cking buy one if I wanted to just like I'm sure others would as well without needing to be told to buy one by people making threads stating the obvious.  Wow, God of War 3 is really coming out?!?  Heavy Rain is emotional and the graphics look good?!?

Marco has done this type of threads since he signed in the first time. It's tiresome reading again and again the same PR by the guy. It's blatant advertising, and I hope he gets paid by doing it, because if not, he needs to get out more.

I was starting to think I was the only one getting annoyed by it.  You would think it would be enough for him to have a PS3 sales logo as his sig but this kind of stuff is really getting into your face.

Seriously I think if someone wants to push games and systems on people they should work retail or buy ad space.

If I ever get a ps3 (which I will not unless it goes down to 200$) Heavy rain, uncharted and KZ2 will be the first games I get.


Although I would not buy Heavy rain at full price though, whether it's good or not does not excuse the shortness of it.
