that is the cause of your problem then, seriously to experience GOW III in it's full glory you will need a HDTV and a HDMI cable, is your PS3 a NTSC one??

lol can you explaine me what is NTSC

did you buy your PS3 from America or Japan, if so it will be a NTSC PS3, if you bought it in Europe, then it will be PAL, when playing games from different regions and not using the HD setup your game will be displayed in black and white, however if you get your game from the same region as you bought your PS3, even if you don't have the HD setup your game should play in colour

never mind you say its a PAL one above lol, yeah It should be in colour, but I am guessing you need to use the HD setup I described, that is a shame, it will be the first game to do that but GOW III is a graphical beast

Probably its what jneul said .I played some American version of games and on a small TV they displayed in black and white.You need to buy yourself a HD TV,after all you need it for the other games as well,because if you haven't experienced them in HD you haven't really seen their graphics on their true glory. And they are not so expensive now.
