I'll probably see it tonight. Looks very interesting.. its a remake of a 1973 George Romero movie (which he is producing this time around) about zombies and government tests.

Its gotten a 72% rating so far on Rotten Tomatoes which is WAY better than most recent horror films.

No chance. The original was a masterpiece, and from the trailer I saw, the remake looks like some cruddy zombie movie bullshit. Fuck that.

Also, "Caesar Romero."

It looks awesome.

I sure would like to go see it while waiting for Alice.

I was hoping Movie Bob would do a review on it but apparently he did Halo Legends today.  Phooey.

If sombody could convince me that I haven't already seen this movie 3,000 times with different names already and I'd see it.

Why another Horror Remake? Seriously, this shit is getting old.

But I'm probably going to check it out eventually.

I saw it last night, don't waste your time.

At best, I could call it utterly generic and forgettable.

It's sad because it could have been a really fun movie and they set it up to be really fun, but in the span of about five minutes the city got completely destroyed and then it just went into the bad.

Once shit started going down, it turned into a painfully generic movie and the ending was just retarded.

I went to see it at Studio Movie Grill (food + drinks + movie) so it was a little more bearable, though they were out of Shiner and we had to do with Dos XX. Anyways, they bring you the check 50 minutes before the movie ends so when they brought the check out last night I was just kind of like damn, I still have 50 more minutes of this and I can't even order another drink.

Looking at our previous likes/dislikes comparaison, I think I'm gonna love this movie!

It's really not that good.  It has a few jump moments (actually, it has a lot of jump moments but only a few work) so I guess if you're into those you might enjoy some of it but you could save yourself money by just going to Blockbuster and renting any other zombie movie.

And again, ugh, the ending.

They set a nuclear bomb off in a super windy area and apparently every there is too much of a fuck-wit to notice and thinks it's only a 400 ft fireball. Fail. -_-
