Both are good visually

both are considered to be system sellers

no trolling please, I know these games arnt alike but which one do you think will sell more? BTW I expect there to be bundles for both games. im not quite sure myself, im leaning towards god of war though...discuss

God of War will crush Splinter Cell I think, overall. Which will sell to me? Splinter Cell.

From the 2 I'd rather get GOW3 but Sales wise both will be a complete success!!

Just look at recent Splinter Cell pre-orders ....over 100k already and still a long way off from release

Well i have both systems and I would like to get splinter cell but getting GOW3 hands down CELL going to have to wait. sorry XBOX ,SONY has my money this year lol

Food for thought:

The highest selling Splinter Cell was the original, doing 2.91 million the Xbox and 2.44 million when ported to ps2.

Since then, not a single Splinter has neared 2 million on a single platform. The closest was Pandora Tomorrow, which managed 1.42 million on the Xbox.

Conviction will probably be the best selling game since the first, but unless they really go all out with marketing, trying to turn the franchise into something bigger than it already is, I doubt it'll do much more than 2 million.

God of War III will probably outsell it (the 360 version) by a million or more.

That's not really a helpful post. I personally know nothing about the sales for Splinter Cell but I will say that I expect GOW III to exceed 4 million sales before it's done.

its really no contest.  GOW3 will at least double its sales, and it will most likely be way better too.

lets use our brain guys. one franchise has been going down hill critically and in revenue (splinter cell) so the developer rebooted it.  the other has been climbing up the ranks of success (god of war) with this years most anticipating game. you tell me which one will sell better
