As you all probably know, there was a rumor that set off the internet which said Sonic would be in the upcoming game Super Mario Galaxy 2. That rumor is NOT true. It says the galaxy's true name is "Hightale Falls Galaxy". Whenever Yoshi eats a pepper, it will cause him to sprint for about 15 seconds, making it a "Sonic Adventure" vibe.

As you all know, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was playable on February 24, 2010 at the Nintendo Media Summit. If some random person posted that information up, then he/she is talking from experience because that person had to have been at the Summit playing that game.

I had doubts that this rumour would be true. Sega and Nintendo have a long history of rivalry. I know that on occasions they have worked together on projects (F-Zero GX is one example) but allowing Sonic to feature in Nintendo's most money consuming franchise is a big mistake from both companies. Allowing them to star in spin-offs together is acceptable but allowing them to star in main games should be avoided. If they want this to happen create Mario & Sonic's Adventure.

@GameGuy100 I would like to challenge you in Mario Kart Wii, I am a pro when it comes to the game (I also have everything in Mario Kart Wii that you can possibly get)

Speaking of Mario Kart, I wouldn't mind Sonic being an unlockable character in that game because it's not a MAIN Mario title like Galaxy 2 is. After all, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong (which are not necessarily part of the main Mario series of games) are in that game.

I was never into believing Sonic himself would appear in the game, but a possible planet based off him.
