I loved the first one, but OMG the sharks freak me out (I have an IRRATIONAL phobia)! I'm having trouble even getting through the 2nd level, and almost had a heart attack when I had to taser that EVOL Tiger Shark. ;_;

I hate to tell you... but the sharks get worse. I was showing my sister the game and she's going to get it, but she's concerned about her husband being terrified of the Great Whites. So you're not alone.

You can get through this! Face your fear!

I picked up the game on Thursday and have logged 31 hours since then. I pretty much did nothing else since then. I've almost finished the main story but I'm going to stick around to explore every nook, treasure, and life form this game has to offer.

lol. Even reading this gets my heart racing!

One great white came at me and I had to turn the game off and take a break after tasering it.  Are great whites the worst shark in the game, or are there even scarier/bigger/uglier ones?

Wait til you see the really ugly shark near the end of the main story. Urgh.

In other news I've now clocked 45 hours. Still loads to complete. Madness!

Yes.

www.spacemag.org - contribute your stuff... satire, comics, ideas, debate, stupidy stupid etc.

I AM SUPER GLAD to read that you have clocked in 45 hours and you have not yet finish the game. I'm on 20 hours now and still discovering. Finally pick up the big bag. I really think that salvaging items as stole the show for me. I still love to see the animals, but I love finding stuff.

As far as the sharks goes, they annoy more than scare me. I won't spoil anything for you jarod, but you will see much more action in the hours to come.

I also enjoy the different characters in the game. Plus, the aquarium is much more interesting this time around. Plus, the private coral reef is pretty cool.

I found the Wii Speak bundle at Best Buy for $30, so I picked it up and it's much better than I expected. For $30 everyone should try it.

Oh god, I youtubed... I seriously don't think I can survive THAT, lol!

Scarier than Silent Hill. ;_;

Spoilers!

The scariest one is Thanatos, who you will directly meet at least twice in missions. If you don't want to meet him more than that, stay clear of the deep south Cicero's Strait. Oh, and he's mean enough to be immune to the pulsar, so when you meet him, run like a little girl.

There's also an aquarium mission in the Red Sea where you have to navigate through a lot of Great Whites. I saw a shark that rivalled Thanatos amongst them but I stayed the hell clear of it.

The only other aggressive sharks I've encountered were a couple Goblin Sharks near the very end of the main story. They're ugly as hell, but tiny compared to the Whites, so hopefully you won't find them too daunting.

Well, quiet night. I have spent my time doing side quests: salvaging items and dive requests. The photographs are the one I like the least. Just found another hidden cave. Guess what I have salvaged in it??? Not going to tell you. Much more fun to find it by yourself.

Heheh, me and my friend played the first one high and it was quite an amazing experience. I might have to check this one out, as much as I like intense action packed games I could always use a relaxing one now and then. Maybe the third game will use the vitality sensor :)
