What are the chances for a Legend of Dragoon 2 being made?

very unlikely. Its been 10 years since it was released and it was ridiculously underrated so we can only have the sequel in our dreams im afraid =(

Pretty low, I'd say. If anything, we'll get a reboot and not a direct sequel, but even then, Sony would have to find a developer that would be willing to resurrect an old franchise rather than create their own, which despite the Dragoons being totally awesome, would probably be hard to do.

I suppose they could build an internal team and force them to work on the IP, but that would be completely at odds with their usual method of acquiring new talent and then letting that talent do what they do.

But Legend of Dragoon sold over 1.1 million copies (960,000 in North America and 280,000 in Japan). I think it sold enough to get a sequal.

that was my favourite ps1 game i only made it to the end of disk 1 out 4 and it had amazing cut sense graphics for a ps1 game it even looked like a ps2 game

legend of dragoon 2 would be a ps3 exclusive. it was developed in house by sony i believe. i would like to see it, but i doubt it will happen.

wish i played the original i really wanted too

Oops .. sorry, i was sure it was a square enix game ... and you know how they are going multiplatform and crap ... sorry! my bad!! :)
