I'm anticipating this game a great deal, but it's a future purchase for me. No game, no matter how good, is worth $130. Not for a family man anyway. Once I get to pay the same price (probably in 6 month's time ~$90) as you'll be paying on day 1 then I'll buy it. God of War III really tempted me into that $130 purchase but I've resisted that game too.

While I wait I'll be picking up R&C, Dragon Age, Uncharted 2, importing Demon's Souls and grabbing one or 2 other 2009 titles to get me through. Plenty to get on with there.

I deliberately didn't download the demo. I watched too many promotional videos and felt I was seeing too much of the game, I placed myself on a Heavy Rain media/demo ban so that when I do get it it will be new and fresh. As long as your review isn't spoiler laden I'll be looking forward to reading your impressions.

well i will get this game because of you... when i join VGCz i come across some of your posts and i get interested by how this game make you so "crazy"... after i got the info about it i also get very interested and intrigue by it. it would be a first day buy for me if wasn't the fact that my PS3 is YOLDed... but i buddy of mine will get it 1st day (24/2 here) (it was i who put the spell on him) and i will go to his home that day to check the game out!

im glad cgi has got his game, lol it was getting a chore seeing this day countdown on his gamertag.

I'll be picking up my copy on my way into work... in roughly 12 hours... then after another 12 hours at work and 1 hour commute I'll finally get to play it (in about 27 hours from now) 

Work every Sun-Tue 7pm-7am, sucks that games always come out (usually) on Tuesdays, but at least I get my days off to play it :)

I read somewhere that the game is only 8-10 hours, which is (imo) short.

Though I guess with all the choices the game will have some real replay
