Well, the buying price at GEO they say is 1500 Yen. This means they sell it for around 3500-4000. ;)
The cheapest store in my region has it used for 3780 Yen now... if I remember correctly.

Really? I've seen so many stores selling used copies for ~2980yen I thought that was pretty much the standard price for a used copy as of now. It just seems to keep getting lower and lower.

Yeah Japan is hugely front-loaded. Most of their games are, so if they over ship retailers take this hit (which I don't care anyways, I only care that SE got lots of $$$$$).

Considering the price of some games ... no wonder they fall quickly.
And it is not like 3980 yen is cheap (roughly $43.56 USD).
What is amazing is the game started at 9240 yen (roughly $101.11 USD).
And it will come out in the US at $60 USD (roughly 5482 yen).

Here in Ireland the 360 version of FF13 is in shops for 20 euros. CD world, Smyths and Game all have the 360 version for 20 and the PS3 version for 45 euros. Theres some info for you bargain hunters.
