NBA Jam will be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to the CV of an EA software engineer.

Superannuation reports that Andrea Schiel's LinkedIn profile had the next edition of the series down as coming to HD consoles as well as Wii.

The profile's since been edited to remove the mention. However, a screengrab exists at AGB

EA has already confirmed that a Wii version of the game will be released this year.

CVG will check in with EA for more.

Would make sense at least. Whatever the control scheme they're using on Wii, that quasi-2D gameplay would translate easily to the pads.

It may be something EA is exploring.
It may be something that EA explored and decided against doing.

As long as games come to the Wii -- on-time and with some effort -- I do not care where else they might appear.
However, I do care when they are half-baked or super-late.

exactly.

However, I think NBA Jam will end up having the same thing happen as Megaman 9 & 10. Announced on Wii first to gain intererst, and then released essentially at the same time on the other systems. Sort of like Nintendo exclusive advertising. Obviously Nintendo doesn't want to fight with Microsoft/Sony over $50m games, so maybe they are just doing this for the small digital download games.
