not sure why pirates would buy a game they got for free. the only reason they would buy it was if they couldn't finish the game for whatever reason.

I've pirated games and purchased them afterwards as they were great games. Off the top of my head in the past year, I've bought Titan Quest, The Path, Plants vs. Zombies and World of Goo because I enjoyed the pirated versions of those games. Had I not pirated those games, I probably never would have bought them.

I'm probably in the minority though.
