God of War III is just three weeks from release.

The game has 365,725 preorders as of February13,2010 according to the American Preorder Charts.

The change in preorder numbers is 14,916. So if the change in preorder numbers are around 14k for the next three weeks,my prediction is the American preorder numbers will be 410,473. So its possible the game could sell over 800k first week. Its also possible for the game to sell 1 million copies worldwide and become the second fastest selling PS3 exclusive but that depends how well it sells in other territories.

God Of War 3 WILL be the 2nd fastest selling Ps3 Exclusive...there's going to be 400k pre-orders AT LEAST when it launches...

my prediction is the following without a big campaign for it:

US - 800k
EU - 300k
JP - 50k

and with a big campaign for it:

US - 1M
EU - 400k
JP - 80k

the last pre-orders week should bump the numbers with 100k copies...

Didn't FFXIII sell 1.5M first week in Japan (exclusive) and MGS4 also sell almost? Over? 1M first week as well?

it could be close to MGS4 but don't think it will beat FF13 japan numbers with its WW numbers

also i was hoping this to be a system sellar,that would also help sales but PS3 has been having alot of shortages

Final Fantasy XIII = 1.5 million in Japan... If that doesn't count since its global release as multiplat then MGS4 is the highest at around 1.5 million follow by a few game sitting at the 800k mark (Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 etc) so it could get second as 800k is acheivable.
