all you have to see is the install base, in the US there is obviously more 360 owners however in WW there are more PS3 owners. if you look at the numbers HR will do better than AW. even though AW mayb better than HR in terms of game play.

The good news for both, HEAVY RAIN was received well, I suspect the same from Wake. These types of story tellers need more recognition. Even though HEAVY RAIN is more focused on story, Alan Wake can really accent that effort and maybe more of these developers will take notes and try new and creative stuff.

I am surprised though. Why hasn't Alan Wake charted yet?

In EU, HEAVY RAIN may do better, but the US will more than make up the difference and put it in Wake's favor. Remember, Wake has traditional control mechanics (or more familiar). That will help it significantly, even if HEAVY RAIN's story could potentially edge out the victory.

why only EU, how bout japan, how bout the rest of Asia.
