all you have to see is the install base, in the US there is obviously more 360 owners however in WW there are more PS3 owners. if you look at the numbers HR will do better than AW. even though AW mayb better than HR in terms of game play.
Alan Wake most likely.
More mainstream + Microsoft's big bucks for advertising = most probable win.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
| CGI-Quality said: On a serious note, I'd love to see HEAVY RAIN perform as well as Alan Wake, because I know that it's really trying a new way of playing. It's just not going to happen, Alan Wake will be much easier to pick up and play, understand, get into. The good news for both, HEAVY RAIN was received well, I suspect the same from Wake. These types of story tellers need more recognition. Even though HEAVY RAIN is more focused on story, Alan Wake can really accent that effort and maybe more of these developers will take notes and try new and creative stuff. |
I am surprised though. Why hasn't Alan Wake charted yet?

what i see are you basing it in sales in the US only or WW. we need to see the bigger picture here.
I couldn't really vote because both games deserve stellar sales in my opinion.
Those are the first 2 big entries of 2010 in gaming.

In EU, HEAVY RAIN may do better, but the US will more than make up the difference and put it in Wake's favor. Remember, Wake has traditional control mechanics (or more familiar). That will help it significantly, even if HEAVY RAIN's story could potentially edge out the victory. |
why only EU, how bout japan, how bout the rest of Asia.
I dont know judging that its not in the top 25 in the pre order charts yet and its out in april i believe i wouldnt doubt that its like a TIE....
