Forums - General - Is Highlander the standard bearer for most missplaced accents?

I was just watching it on DVD, and was thinking about how it went. Christopher Lambert, a Frenchman, with a clearly French accent or whatnot is playing a Scottish Highlander. Sean Connery, with his famous Scottish accent playing an Egyptian? Clancy Brown, playing the villain, with a pretty Americanized accent? The movie is a classic, but this is funny as hell when you think about it.

Don't question the Connery.

The day is mine!

OT: Highlander is a great movie I am going to watch that today. Also is it just me or are the rules for a Highlander villain are to hire a hooker?

I think about this more often than I probably should, and yes, I believe it is.
