Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Ubisoft: Gamer's games can succeed on Wii, RS3 coming based on RS2 interest

If they make Red Steel 3 I hope they add multiplayer. Anyway, I hope they advertise Red Steel 2, it certainly looks like a great game so far.

He said in the interview that if they got to make a sequel it would be his first priority at least.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Ah, ok. Maybe I should watch the interview before commenting.

I don't like Ubisoft, but at least they have a shred of optimism concerning Wii support.

EVERYONE needs to look to Monster Hunter Tri as an example of a Wii 3rd party game with strong effort put into it leading to strong sales.

The problem with Wii 3rd party software is most games are not quality, and the few that are tend to either be niche titles with little mainstream appeal (Madworld, Zack and Wiki, Muramasa), OR they are great games but are direct ports (Okami, RE4, MW: Reflex).

As of now, Monster Hunter Tri is the ONLY, and I mean the ONLY quality Wii 3rd party game I can see that doesn't fit these two crippling features, and guess what? It's sold strongly. And it hasn't even been released in the west yet.
