Do people realize that arabic people are also semites, or do they just sheepishly listen to media bullshit?

On another note. Anyone who ever thought that Europeans weren't racist just look at the gypsy population. There isn't a single country who wants them, and the funniest part is that every few years some country tries to handle them in some way (Italy wanted to tag them for example), and ALL the other countries make them take it back, even the ones who tried similar things.

Would you want to welcome a people which isolates itself and brings several forms of crime to wherever they settle? Theft, drug dealing, violence etc?

The above certainly applies to Gypsies in Portugal... and I lived not too far from one of their settlements so I know what I'm talking about.

Don't get me wrong at all. I'm from Bulgaria and I want nothing more than to gather up all the gypsies and get them out of my country, sure one of the first neurosurgeons was a gypsy, but I'd be willing to part with him, or others like him, if it meant getting rid of all the other problems.

Before anyone starts to critczse me I need you to realize that there has been no culture that has advanced without a written language and that's exactly what the gypsy culture is. They either get their shit together and get a written language, and by association develop skills other than thieving, or get the hell out of my country.

I have actually seen the behavior that the woman is talking about. During WWII Bulgaria was the only nation which did not send any of its Jews or Gypsies over to get slaughtered (government was doing it, but on the day that the trains were gonna live there was a nation wide civilian revolt so it got canceled and Hitler assassinated our monarch, for history buffs). Yet today the population is very anti-jewish, granted they don't chase them and all, but are quite derogatory.

If I had to guess, Europe was fine and tolerant as long as minorities were kept at lower levels. Once minorities started being more populous in recent years people just went back to previous hatreds, though not thoroughly. This was clearly shown when it came to the banning of minarets in Switzerland.

Sweden has problems with racism, and I would say our politicians are partly to blame. They just don't know how to handle it.

About ten years ago I think, there was a lot of discussion in my home town regarding racism and immigrants. One school had a lot of kids from other countries and therefore the school decided it would be unwise to raise the Swedish flag and sing the Swedish national anthem. I mean, what!? Even if those kids come from another country (many of them were actually born in Sweden!) they are Swedes!

In my school it was suicide to show yourself with a Swedish flag because it symbolized racism and neo-nazis. I had a t-shirt with the text "Absolute Swedish" or something like that, and I quickly hid it. I did not want to be beaten up. Once I had a tourist shirt I've bought in Stockholm with an elk having a Swedish flag in it's mouth or something like that, and I was immediately asked if I was a racist. Because of the shirt.It was the same thing with symbols from the Norse Mythology. The Nazi bastards use a lot of symbols from our mythology such as Thor's hammer or runes. The 2 S's in the German SS was written with runes. Yeah, thank you for ruining our heritage, or whatever...Anyway, wearing mythological smbols was a big NO. I have to add, that it was just as likely to get beaten up by a "Swede".

Anyway, it results in the perfect growing ground for neo-nazi movements, or patriots/nationalists. They call out the leading politicians for not caring about our country, our heritage, our Swedish women, yadda yadda. It's election time for us Swedes this year, and one of the biggest national parties have a very good chance of getting a seat in the government. It's a complete mess...

Some time ago there was a Tennis game between Sweden and Israel where they didn't allow any audience. There's a lot of muslim immigrants in that region so they feared it would result in violence, or something like that. Some wanted to cancel the game. I don't remember the exact details but it was something like that...

I believe Swedish Jews have a hard time in Sweden. There are a lot of people from the Middle-east and some of them are very hostile against Israel, and Jews in general. Israel are also met with alot of criticism in media because of the latest actions against the Palestines. Again, it's tough to be a Swedish Jew.

I agree about the government being a problem. I spent a lot of time in Spain and I know a really good reason why there is animosity against muslims there. When an immigrant makes a business, they dont have to pay any fees for several years, 3 I think. Meanwhile Spaniards have to start paying fees right off the bat. If I was under the same conditions, I would feel exactly the same.

The problem is that immigrants are given a large amount of freedom, sometimes more than the actual locals (as the case in Spain). This cannot lead to anything to anything other than animosity. Until immigrant pampering is removed from Europe, the situation will only get worse.

In Sweden I think immigrants get a good amount of money when they get here, and that leaves a bad taste in some people's mouths...

The economical situation doesn't make things better either. A lot of people are unemployed and the last thing they want to see is more competitors...

If you look at the percentage there are also more people with an immigrant background committing crimes, and that fact is very popular among nationalists.

Then there's also the way the government handles immigration. We have some families fleeing from war or poverty, but what do they do with their kids after they've arrived here and live here for a couple of years? They send them back home with the help of some Islamic schools because Swedish culture are bad for them, or because they want their girls to be circumsized (illegal in Sweden), or some other reason. With the help from the schools they move behind the back of the government, put their kids alone on an airplane to a country they fled from! In some cases the kids were born in Sweden, and sent to another country anyway. There they end up, sometimes with no knowledge of that language and many of them dies. Some immigrants takes with them honour crimes, girls getting killed by their fathers because they went to a party.

These are things we see in the media from time to time, and people begin to question why these people were allowed to move here from the beginning.

At the same time we see autistic children being sent back because their families didn't qualify. Another media outbreak...

I think there are problems with the immigration politics, I'm not against immigration, but I see problems with the management.

The problem here is most serious than anyone of us can possibly understand. the Europe socialist left in its pro-Islamic agenda has let enter to europe millions of muslin immigrants from the middle east. this inmigrants openly refuse to adapt to european values and reject anything West, so this is creating a paralel islamic 5fh column inside european states like sweden. Sweden has like a million muslins living in it. The worst part is that the european white population are getting older and less babies are being born, unlike the inmigrant population that is growing by the day. This will let to the islamization of Europe!

Europe's definitely been having a right-wing backlash as of late. Inevitable, given the higher immigration and that nationalist groups are going to fear further dilution of national identity through the EU and such.
