People screaming "LOL YOU GREW UP" may want to refresh themselves with the threshold of maturity - damning everything from your childhod is not it. There are genuine things out there that retain entertainment value whether you're 10 or 50 years old.

I don't think Pokemon is one of them, though. I never got beyond the first season. When they got rid of Brock, I stopped caring. When he came back, I tried to get back into it but couldn't. When Misty left, I never looked back.

The problem with the show was that its plots weren't interesting enough to recycle endlessly to keep up with the games. There isn't enough there to justify the repetition.

Well, I dont know if I grew up, Im 19, but I still find the charm and the good things of DBZ, hey arnold and spongebob(which bored me a long time ago but there are some fun episodes) on the other hand pokemon, power rangers and rocket power seem just too bad.

I would say DBZ if way better than Pokemon, Hey Arnold had some genious moments and spongebob used to have those, while power rangers suffer from the same milking, repetitiveness, etc just like pokemon and now its turning like Yu gi oh, which once wasnt that bad is turning into something similar.

Big difference between those two ages: 5 and 10, but I loved that show.

Yugioh - Was good but they kept adding more bullshit cards and it ruined it.'

Power Rangers- Got rid of the good rangers, took the show from being cool to eh..

Rugrats- Was the shit, it needed to be canceled after they added Kimmy

Dexter Labatory - The shit

Rocket Power- The shit

DBZ - The best anime 

Spongebob- For girls now

and Pokemon- same thing as Yugioh. Quit adding new pokemon in so i can fucking keep track, first there were 150 then 250 (i think) now there are more types of pokemon than people in North America.

The main problem is they kept making series and that ultimately ruined it.

I rewatched the first season recently and then the Movie. It was an awsome show, then they started to change voice actor's, battles became to significant, everyone became to goody goody and the Pokemon became ridiculous. DBZ never lost it's greatness though, I swear everyone copies the show. Vegeta = Saskue, Zorro, Uryū Ishida. Goku = Luffy, Naruto and every other overly happy anime character.

99% Of all Anime characters are the same.

Goofy characters = Goku, Naruto, (the 2 guys from Zoids 1st and 2nd Seasons) (The main character from beyblade)

Serious back up characters who are only there to make the main guy look good = Vegeta,(The long haired guy from Zoids) Sasuke and Kai

Yeah, your pretty much summed up every anime. You forgot to mention the Damsel though.

Damsel: The girl who complains about everything, falls in love with everyone and always becomes a liability. Bulma, Sakura etc

How could i forget the Damsel? 

Iv seen a few animes where these rules differ.

Like Detective Conan( Forgot the name of the show) where the guy gets turned into a kid and is a detective.

I think in the USA they called it Case Closed or something like that, here we knew it as detective Conan.
