1. A Wii update for some reason, release date for Sin & Punishment 2, trailer and release date for Metroid: Other M, Vitality Sensor info.

2. Trailers and release dates of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M and Zelda, better online, info on 3rd party games like Monster Hunter 3, Red Steel 2, and more.

-More info on Xenoblade and maybe trailer

-Another "Wii" game (like Wii Sports, Wii Play etc)
-More info on Wii Relax
-Vitality sensor games
-Nothing about Zelda (they need to show this game at this year's E3)

-Another Kirby game (DS or Wii)

-Eternal Darkness 2

Even when you play directly from your SD card you have to have enough room available on your Wii's onboard memory to copy it over to for the duration of play

And this would have to be a big-ass SD card, even ignoring that

They must devise a way around it, then... but I don't think they will.

And yeah, big-ass is correct.

If you have softmoded your Wii you can allready put full retail games on your sdcard and play them so it wouldn be impossible for Nintendo to do it but I highly doubt it.

Here's some info on the conference from IGN's latest podcast:

- Craig has heard that Nintendo will not be revealing any hardware, except for maybe the release date for the DSi XL in North America
- Miyamoto won’t be at the summit
- Nintendo won’t say what will be at the event exactly
- Doesn’t seem like Iwata has a keynote at GDC this year
- Cammie will be speaking about certain news items at around 9 AM PST, will probably liveblog it
- 10:30 AM hands-on play, can’t write about the stuff until the end of the night (around 9 PM or so)
- Pokemon HeartGold/Soul Silver, America’s Test Kitchen, Wii version of Prince of Persia will be there

This gives me the feeling there won't be anything big there.

The US media briefings rarely reveal any new titles...and unless the games are due within 6 months..they'll save the reveals until E3.

Anyone expecting a vast amount of new announcements is deluded IMO.

At most I'm expecting new trailers for already announced games (Metroid Other M, Galaxy 2...but not Zelda), maybe a new Nintendo channel (a euro/US version of "Wii No Ma" perhaps?)...and maybe a reveal of one new title (and that's a big maybe).

If you get that much you'll be damn lucky. Don't fall for websites/blogs hyping it...they are likely just trying to attract clicks.
