W@W is the best and it still didn't perform as well as MW. So i would say no their isin't room for another. I personally think that they should make a COD with a made up scenario of the USSR invading Europe during the Cold War.

FUCKIN'KOREANWAR!!!!!!!!! Ugh, developers just don't get it. Unexploited territory and they keep going to the same areas of conflict..

I like WWII shooters, but I wouldn't mind if developers branched out more into different wars/conflicts
they could always throw a WWII one in there every once in a while though

You should congratulate me. I destroyed the vile red falcon and saved the universe. I consider myself a hero.
Yes, but only if there is a campagne on German side- not only like everytime this shity allies!
I want to play as Wehrmacht- soldier.
Wehrmacht is not the same as Nazis.
Nazis are stupid asshols - the german Wehrmacht was the best army the world has ever seen!

Well I personally think that there are craploads of areas to be explored of WWII. However, developers will never get to them becuase americans wont buy a game in which they play as a soviet or german soldier, because of their stupid prejudices.
I mean, Stalingrad, Kursk, Finland, Italy, the japanese invasion of China...
There are craploads of unexplored scenarios that could really be cool if approached inteligently.
For example, I just shudder to think of a game that would accurately represent the battle of Kursk or Moscow.
Instead, you just get to play as American soldiers, that didn't even participate in any of the major battles of WWII.
On the Wii, yes.
On the PS3/360, not at all.

Well Call of Duty did that. Already from the first game you could play as an Russian solider. And as Canadian/Polish aswell...
Some of the PS2 call of Duty's (big red one?) had battles in Italy (operation Husky).
Btw the Russian campaign in WaW is really nice.

But they are still quite samey, and most of Stalingrad was just constant bombardment and incredibly brutal fighting. We have done Russian battles in WaW and have fought in the Pacific. I think we have seen enough for WW II for now
A good game is a good game, no matter the style or setting. If some developer comes up saying that he has an awesome idea for a WW2 shooter I'm not going to complain.
I do miss the BF1942 days though. BF1943 didn't quite drive it home yet even though the pacific had some of the best maps (but why they left out Guadalcanal and Midway is beyond me.) If Dice decides to properly update BF1942 I might get into it again.
